Greetings to all you Beautiful Brides!
West Indian Wedding Blog was created as I started to plan my own wedding. I love to admire art and beauty, and be inspired by great ideas. I'm constantly doing research, browsing, reading, you name it! I've grown up in New York my entire life and have always been surrounded by the Indian arts, culture and traditions. I love Indian Weddings and everything surrounding them. I love how families are a big part of our weddings. What I do notice is that a lot of our traditions are getting lost or a lot of couples don't know the meaning of some traditions. Nevertheless, the gorgeous outfits & jewelry, beautiful and bright colors, mehndi and music, and the celebration surrounding our Indian Weddings, fill my heart with joy...and I'm sure it does for many!
Going through the journey of planning my wedding to the love of my life has been very fulfilling and an emotional experience. With this Blog, I aspire to bring the same joy to couples in their wedding planning journey, hopefully making it a little easier for them. I aim to provide brides with wedding planning guides by providing lovely inspirations, inside scoop on bridal and fashion trends, detailed descriptions of wedding traditions, and wedding planning advice from experts that I have researched. From your engagement, until your honeymoon, I hope to help in guiding you through this fulfilling and emotional wedding planning journey.
